1. Shipment Processing Time

Order processing time may vary depending on product type, stock availability, lens option selected, customization requirement, power details, prescription complexity, and order volume.

Ready-stock products are generally processed within 3–7 working days from the date of purchase.

Powered glasses, reading glasses, progressive / multifocal glasses, safety glasses with power, sports glasses with power, swimming goggles with power, ptosis crutch glasses, moisture chamber glasses, custom-made eyewear, special-order products, and imported products may require additional processing time.

Estimated timelines mentioned on product pages, checkout, WhatsApp, email, or order communication are indicative and may vary due to lens work, customization, supplier delays, courier delays, customs delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders or any delay in processing, you will be informed by email, WhatsApp, or phone using the details shared at the time of placing the order.

2. Shipping Disruptions, Route Restrictions & Additional Charges

Shipping services, delivery routes, courier availability, customs procedures, airline operations, fuel surcharges, government regulations, and domestic or international shipping conditions may change without notice.

In case of unforeseen circumstances including transportation disruptions, airline restrictions, customs delays, government regulations, sanctions, natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, geopolitical events, war, regional conflicts, courier service suspensions, remote area restrictions, or significant increases in shipping costs, GlassesIndia.com reserves the right to:

  • Delay shipment until a suitable shipping route becomes available
  • Use an alternative courier partner or shipping method
  • Request additional shipping charges if actual shipping costs substantially exceed the amount originally collected
  • Hold the shipment until additional shipping charges are accepted and paid by the customer
  • Modify estimated delivery timelines

For custom-made products, powered eyewear, reading glasses, progressive glasses, safety glasses with power, sports glasses with power, swimming goggles with power, ptosis crutch glasses, moisture chamber glasses, imported products, special-order products, and other products manufactured or customized according to customer requirements, cancellation shall not be permitted solely due to shipping delays, courier restrictions, route suspensions, customs delays, or temporary unavailability of shipping services after production, procurement, customization, or assembly has commenced.

In such situations, the order may be held until shipping services resume or an alternative shipping solution becomes available.

GlassesIndia.com shall not be liable for delays caused by courier partners, customs authorities, transportation providers, government agencies, weather events, route disruptions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Such circumstances shall not constitute grounds for cancellation, chargeback, compensation, damages, or claims against GlassesIndia.com where the order has already entered production, procurement, customization, or dispatch.

3. Domestic Shipping Within India

We provide shipping within India to serviceable locations through our logistics partners.

Once shipped, domestic orders are generally delivered within 7 working days to serviceable locations. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the destination, courier partner, weather conditions, holidays, local restrictions, or operational delays.
Estimated delivery timelines are indicative only and shall not be treated as guaranteed delivery commitments.

Shipping charges for orders delivered within India will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

International Shipping

International Shipping

International shipping charges vary depending on the destination country, actual shipment weight, volumetric (dimensional) weight, package dimensions, courier partner, service level selected, fuel surcharges, remote area surcharges, security surcharges, and other applicable carrier charges.

The international shipping charges displayed at checkout are based on the information available at the time of order placement and may be subject to verification before dispatch.

Additional Shipping Charges

Certain domestic and international destinations may attract remote area surcharges, extended area surcharges, island delivery charges, special handling fees, fuel surcharges, customs processing fees, security surcharges, volumetric weight adjustments, or other location-based charges imposed by courier partners.

In such cases, GlassesIndia.com reserves the right to request payment of the additional shipping charges before dispatch.

If the customer chooses not to proceed with the additional shipping charges and the order has not yet entered production, customization, procurement, or dispatch, the order may be cancelled and refunded in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.

For custom-made products, powered eyewear, progressive glasses, safety glasses with power, sports glasses with power, swimming goggles with power, ptosis crutch glasses, moisture chamber glasses, imported products, and special-order products that have already entered production, procurement, customization, or assembly, cancellation may not be possible and shipment may be held until the applicable shipping charges are accepted and paid.

Where actual shipping charges are higher than the amount collected due to volumetric weight, package dimensions, destination-specific surcharges, route restrictions, courier policy changes, or other carrier-imposed charges, GlassesIndia.com reserves the right to collect the difference before dispatch.

5. Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a shipment confirmation email, SMS, WhatsApp message, or tracking update once your order has been shipped.

The tracking number may take up to 24 hours to become active on the courier partner’s website.

Customers are requested to track the shipment and remain available to receive the delivery.

6. Receipt of Shipment

All deliveries sent to residential or commercial addresses may require a signature, OTP confirmation, or delivery acknowledgement.

We shall not be responsible if the shipment is received or signed for by another person available at the delivery address provided by the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping details, including name, phone number, address, pin code, city, state, and country.

We shall not be responsible for delays, failed delivery, misdelivery, return shipment, or additional charges caused due to incorrect, incomplete, or outdated address details provided by the customer.

If no one is available to receive the shipment, the courier partner may attempt delivery again as per their internal process. If the package remains undelivered after repeated attempts, it may be returned to GlassesIndia.com.

7. Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Shipment

All claims for damaged, defective, missing, or incorrect products must be reported to customer support within 48 hours of delivery.

Customers must share clear photographs of the product, packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage via email or WhatsApp.

After verification, we will arrange a suitable replacement, correction, or refund as applicable.
In the event a shipment is confirmed lost by the courier partner during transit, GlassesIndia.com will, at its discretion, arrange a replacement, remake, store credit, or refund after completion of the courier investigation process.

8. International Shipping

We may ship selected products outside India to serviceable international locations. International delivery timelines vary depending on the destination country, courier partner, customs clearance, local regulations, route availability, and delivery network.

International shipping charges, if applicable, will be communicated or displayed before order confirmation.

Once an international order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

Orders for custom-made products, powered eyewear, progressive glasses, safety glasses with power, sports glasses with power, swimming goggles with power, ptosis crutch glasses, moisture chamber glasses, imported products, and special-order products may not be cancelled after production, procurement, customization, or assembly has commenced.

9. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For international orders, the customer is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.

Orders shipped outside India may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, clearance fees, local taxes, brokerage charges, or other charges levied by the destination country.

These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee unless specifically mentioned. Such charges must be paid by the recipient directly to the courier partner, customs authority, or relevant local authority at the time of delivery or clearance.

Customs policies vary from country to country. Customers are advised to contact their local customs office for more information before placing an international order.

10. Refused, Unclaimed, or Undeliverable Shipments

Customers are responsible for accepting delivery, responding to courier communication, completing customs clearance where applicable, and paying applicable duties, taxes, clearance fees, or import charges.

If a shipment is refused, left unclaimed, abandoned, undeliverable, returned due to non-payment of customs duties, taxes, clearance fees, incorrect address details, or failure to respond to the courier, GlassesIndia.com shall not be responsible for any resulting delays, losses, return shipping charges, customs charges, storage fees, destruction fees, or other related costs.

If such a shipment is successfully returned to GlassesIndia.com, any refund approved shall be limited solely to the eligible product value recovered, after deduction of all outbound shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, handling fees, storage charges, payment gateway charges, and other related costs.

If the shipment is abandoned, destroyed, confiscated, lost, or otherwise not returned to GlassesIndia.com, no refund shall be payable.

11. Returns from International Customers

For all international returns, the customer will be responsible for arranging return shipment, complying with export laws of the shipping country, and bearing all return shipping charges, customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, and related costs.

Returned parcels should be clearly marked as “Returned Goods – No Commercial Value” to help reduce customs issues on re-entry into India.

12. Non-Refundable Shipping Charges

Shipping charges, courier charges, COD fees, customs duties, taxes, clearance charges, return shipping charges, payment gateway charges, and handling charges are non-refundable.

Refunds, where applicable, are processed only for the eligible product value and do not include any shipping, logistics, customs, payment processing, or related service charges.
